Description Mama Bird Southern Kitchen is looking for motivated and talented Line Cooks to join our team in West Jordan, UT! We’re hiring for both full-time and part-time positions. We’re open seven days a week, serving up delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Prepares food orders for guests using prescribed recipes and standards. Requirements Reliable transportation to and from work. Knowledge of and ability to consistently prepare all food recipes and sub-recipes as instructed Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbal and written form in a professional manner. Ability to expedite tickets accurately and timely, and read/understand the kitchen monitors or printed tickets, behind the cooks’ line. Proper cooling and storing practices per health department rules and regulations. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to follow directions in a fast-paced environment; manage time effectively, and work well in a team environment. At all times during employment, you must have a valid State Health Card and any other government-required cards. A desire to learn, and grow, and a passion for progress in this career.
