Duties:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Ensure that food is prepared and presented in an appealing and appetizing manner
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Assist with catering events as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferred; knowledge in French cooking an asset but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
