The Neighbourhood Group of Companies—operators of The Wooly Pub, Borealis Grille & Bar (Guelph & Kitchener), Miijidaa Café + Bistro, and Park Eatery—is looking for a Line Cook to join the team at Park Eatery.

What We’re Looking For

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (culinary degree preferred)
  • 1–3 years cooking experience in a restaurant, hotel, or resort (willing to train the right candidate)
  • Knowledge of cooking methods, procedures, and knife handling
  • Ability to work with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and follow recipes and directions
  • Calm under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Organized, self-motivated, and reliable
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry heavy items during shifts
  • Food Handler certification (required)

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare ingredients, cook, and assemble dishes according to recipes
  • Restock and prep stations to ensure smooth service
  • Set up and clean stations according to restaurant protocols
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, including equipment, tables, and shelves
  • Follow sanitary, health, and personal hygiene standards
  • Ensure quality and freshness of all products
  • Assist the sous chef or chef with additional tasks as needed
