Line Cook - Part Time Weekend

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for a qualified Line Cook that is available to work flexible shifts. You must be reliable, hard-working, able to work equally well independently and with others. Having your Food Safe Certificate is considered an asset, however the willingness to obtain your Food Safe Certificate upon hire is a requirement.
This position is based in Port Alberni, BC Canada. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

• Responsible for the tracking, organization, preparation and service of all products and ingredients required for the location in accordance with your supervisor.
• Assist with any requested prep work needed for other stations/locations onsite.
• Assist with food preparation for the daily menu.
• Maintain continual cleaning and sanitizing of your surrounding work area.
• Ensure an adequate supply of food/materials required according to the fluctuations of demand.
• Preparing food in an appetizing manner, both in appearance and in taste.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Chef or Management.
  This is a part-time weekend opportunity with a rate of $20/hr being offered for this position. Completion of a successful background check is a BCLC mandatory requirement for this position.
