1. Line Cooks: Join our culinary team as a First Cook and be part of an exciting kitchen environment. The successful candidates will have experience in preparing a variety of dishes, including steak, fish, seafood, cold and hot appetizer items. Attention to detail, precision in cooking techniques, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure setting are essential.
2. Prep Cooks: We are hiring Prep Cooks to support our kitchen operations. The ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in food preparation, knife skills, and modern culinary techniques. Responsibilities include ingredient preparation, organization, and ensuring the kitchen is well-stocked, clean and ready for service.
   Located in the lobby of 201 Portage Avenue, at the iconic intersection of Portage and Main. 529 Uptown is a brand new sister restaurant to the legendary 529 Wellington Steakhouse, with a modern Japanese influenced menu.
   529 Uptown offers competitive wages, an excellent working environment and opportunities to learn and grow. Another major perk is that because the restaurant is focused on lunch service, these positions will primarily be Monday to Friday.
