JOB SUMMARY:

The Line Cook plays a key role in preparing and cooking food for regular restaurant service, as well as for special events and banquets. This position requires someone who can work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety. You will be responsible for both day-to-day meal preparation and assisting with the preparation of large-scale events. Depending on your shift, duties may vary, but the focus will always be on cleanliness, organization, and timely, high-quality food production.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred, with special event or banquet preparation experience a plus.
  • Food Safety: Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen sanitation procedures.
  • Knowledge of Meal Prep & Menu Planning: Proficient in preparing large quantities of food, understanding the needs of catering and event-specific menus.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and work under pressure during busy service periods, especially during large events.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and work in a high-energy kitchen environment.
  • Team Player: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work well with other kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.
