Job Title: Line Cook/Prep Cook
Job Summary:
Barcelos Flame Grilled Chicken is seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, possess a strong understanding of kitchen operations, and adhere to food safety standards. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in assisting with meal preparation, ensuring quality dishes are served promptly to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking tasks
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Ensure all food products are handled, stored, and prepared safely
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to uphold high-quality standards
- Help with inventory management and stock rotation
- Adhere to all food safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook/Prep Cook or similar role
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Understanding of kitchen operations
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Certification in food handling is a plus

Language:

• English (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
