OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.

  • Proficient in food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
  • Listens and follows direction from expeditor and ownership

  • Experience with catering events & preparation of charcuterie board preferred
  • Performs related maintenance/cleaning duties as required
  • Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of meal preparation processes and food handling procedures.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in the kitchen.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing in house sauces.
  • Cook menu items according to established recipes and standards to ensure consistency
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items according to their probable shelf life.
  • Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure the safe handling of all food products.
  • Follow the equipment’s operating instructions and maintain restaurant and equipment maintenance.
  • Receives and places orders from suppliers in accordance with food rotation.
  • Assist in plating dishes for service, ensuring that each plate meets presentation standards.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to manage workflow during busy service periods.
  • Participate in inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages as needed.
  • Executes any other task requested by the person in charge.
