OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. Experience is nessecsary. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and delivering high-quality meals to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong cooking skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. We operate in the morning/day, so if you are a student, we do not offer night time shifts. We are open Saturdays, but once we have suffient staff we plan to open on Sundays as well.

SKILLS

• Proficient in food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment operation.
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other staff members.
• Experience with desserts/baking is an asset

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage practices.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control.
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all food served.
