Location: The Cobblestone Pub, Cobble Hill, BC
Schedule: Full-Time – Early Mornings (6:00am start) & Afternoons
Wage: $20-$22 per/hour, Based on experience + tips

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Line/Prep Cook to join our back-of-house team. This is a full-time role, primarily working early morning and afternoon shifts (6:00am start). You’ll be responsible for preparing and executing consistent, high-quality meals that meet our standards and exceed guest expectations.
This is a great opportunity for a cook who thrives in a daytime kitchen, takes pride in clean, organized workspaces, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipe specifications and plating guidelines
  • Start morning prep and kitchen readiness tasks promptly by 6:00am
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety at all times
  • Communicate effectively with other kitchen teammates and front-of-house staff
  • Participate in prep work, restocking, and cleaning duties as needed
  • Assist in receiving, rotating, and properly storing deliveries
  • Maintain equipment and report issues proactively
