JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals while maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment is essential.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is a must.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.

  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
  • Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and maintain quality.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
