We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. As a vital member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in preparing and serving exceptional dishes to our guests. This position requires a strong passion for cooking, a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, and a willingness to support our culinary team in all aspects of food preparation.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook in a restaurant environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Experience with menu planning and food preparation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to support the culinary team in all aspects of food preparation and service.
  • Familiarity with dietary department guidelines and experience with food service in a fine dining setting.
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
    Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 22 – 30 per week

Responsibilities

  • Assist with menu planning and food preparation in the kitchen.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to strict food safety guidelines.
  • Help to ensure that all food items are prepared in accordance with the dietary department’s guidelines.
  • Assist with food service, including plating and serving dishes.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure that all meals are prepared and served to the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to prepare fine dining dishes.
  • Provide support to the culinary team, helping to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
