We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes before in An Indian Restaurant. This role involves both cooking and food preparation, ensuring that every meal meets our standards for taste and presentation.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in a Indian restaurant or kitchen setting is must, showcasing familiarity with food service operations
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
• Experience with meal preparation, including cooking techniques and presentation skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, etc.
• Cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in flavor and presentation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations
• Assist in the development of new menu items and contribute creative ideas for meal preparation
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
• Handle food safely and responsibly, following all guidelines for food handling and sanitation
• Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and report any shortages to management
