Description
The Line Cook is responsible for prepping food and plating dishes according to the restaurant’s menu specifications. They will play a vital role in upholding our food safety and cleanliness standards. In addition, the Line Cook will assist in restocking items, sanitizing equipment, and plating meals. Responsibilities: Demonstrate a deep knowledge of food safety standards including time and temperature standards, and proper chilling and heating techniques. Practice Sanitation and Safety principles Use proper methods of preparation, sizes of portioning and the garnishing of food while on the line. Waste management including waste reporting Prepare items according to the recipe specification and set up the kitchen line. Monitoring temperatures for equipment, product and monitor holding temperatures on the line. Prepare all items within designated ticket time and alert management if ticket times are not being met.
