Description Here at MPCC, our line cooks craft our culinary creations and provide the highest quality service and products to our membership and their guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to maintaining our standards of excellence. This position offers an easy work pace with seasonal periods of increased activity and expected to work between 25 to 40 hours per week. Requirements Demonstrate and deliver the MPCC experience and values when providing service and teamwork Work with the culinary team to create an exemplary experience for members and their guests Follow up with members and guests with additional services that enhance the overall experience Handle requests personally and/or refer as appropriate Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service Prepare and properly garnish all food orders in accordance with menu specifications Craft and design specially featured weekly Specials Prepare sauces, appetizers, salads, and entrees in accordance with menu Present food using proper plate presentation techniques as defined by the Culinary Leadership Team Coordinate completion of menu items with server Set up for meal periods by ensuring that stations are set up based upon anticipated volume as defined by Restaurant Supervisor Adhere to club standards for safe food handling and storage Keep equipment clean and in proper operating condition, maintain cleanliness and stock coolers and storage areas Complete food requisitions to maintain inventory items Assist the golf turn and pool grill with prepping as needed. Qualifications: Able to read, follow and direct orders, lists, and recipes Culinary arts training or documented work history equivalent with demonstrated working knowledge of the kitchen, tools, and equipment At least 2 years' experience in a comparable position After filling out your application, we ask for just 5 more minutes of your time to complete this Predictive Index behavioral assessment.
