Meet with experienced Executive Chef and Sous Chefs and contribute as a team to handle food storage, weigh ingredients, and adhere to safety regulations. Teatro Ristorante opened its doors in 1993 to a smaller and relatively quiet downtown Calgary. Our philosophy is to provide quality seasonal cuisine, an acceptable offering of adequately cellared wine and knowledgeable, attentive service. Our service and staff are rooted in this philosophy, upholding exceptional cuisine and service.

What are the duties to perform:

  • Prepare diverse ingredients, sauces, and baked goods
  • Weigh, measure, and portion ingredients
  • Wash, peel, and cut foods for cooking or serving
  • Receive, store, and organize food supplies in storage areas
  • Transport food supplies, equipment, and utensils
  • Chop ingredients following the Chef’s instructions
