Job Summary The Line Cook team is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the line area and preparing food items in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role ensures that every dish meets quality standards and is delivered promptly to guests. Team members work closely with other kitchen staff to uphold food safety, cleanliness, and consistency while supporting smooth kitchen operations. Responsibilities · Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards. · Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times. · Monitor food quality and presentation before dishes leave the kitchen. · Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines. · Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed. · Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely service. Qualifications · Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide proper documentation. · Graduate of a culinary institute, military culinary program, or formal on-the-job training preferred. · Minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience required. · Experience with high-volume or quantity food preparation preferred. · Ability to demonstrate strong cooking skills and follow established menus and recipes accurately. · Capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. · Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, reach overhead, and work in confined spaces. · Strong written and verbal communication skills. · Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
