Line Cook – Millstone Public House Bedford

Location: Bedford, Nova Scotia

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Wage: $17–$19/hour

Hours: 30–40 hours/week

Job Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
Prepare ingredients, sauces, and food items for service.
Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation.
Operate kitchen equipment safely.
Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures.
Keep workstations and kitchen areas clean and organized.
Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies.
Work efficiently with the kitchen team during busy service periods.

Requirements

Previous cooking or restaurant experience is an asset.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Food-handler certification is an asset.
