As a Line Cook, you will play an integral role in preparing dishes according to established recipes and ensuring the smooth operation of our daily culinary services. Responsibilities: Prepare and cook meals in collaboration with the kitchen team, adhering to established recipes and culinary standards. Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols. Maintain a clean, organized workspace that exceeds Health Department standards. Work seamlessly with the team to ensure efficient and effective service. Set up and stock cooking stations with necessary supplies. Ensure dishes are presented attractively and in an appetizing manner. Assist in the preparation of ingredients and food items for future service. Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or requirements to kitchen management. Handle and store food properly to prevent spoilage and minimize waste. Adhere to portion control standards and reduce food waste. Support the training and mentorship of junior kitchen staff as needed. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a line cook. Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Positive attitude and strong team player with a collaborative mindset. Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays are Mandatory.
