RESPONSIBILITIES As a Line Cook you will: * Prepare and cook menu items following recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards to ensure appealing and flavorful plates. * Compose plates with attention to detail, ensuring each dish is visually appealing and meets quality standards. * Execute cooking tasks in a timely manner to maintain service efficiency and guest satisfaction. * Label and date all prepared food items for proper storage, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. * Handle and store food items using sanitary practices to meet food safety standards. * Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including coolers, storage areas, and workstations. * Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to operating guidelines and maintenance protocols. * Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to the supervisor in a timely manner. * Collaborate with the kitchen team and management to uphold high standards of service and food quality. * Follow all health and safety protocols, including proper food handling, temperature checks, and sanitation practices. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS To perform the duties of this job, you must: * Be able to stand, walk, and move continuously for up to 8 hours. * Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. * Handle frequent bending, stooping, and reaching. * Work in a kitchen environment that may involve exposure to heat, humidity, and cold storage areas. * Safely operate kitchen equipment and tools.
