Description Crowds gather at urbanbelly for a taste of Chef Bill Kim’s original and playful take on dumplings, rice and noodle bowls with an emphasis on bold flavors and local ingredients. Line Cook Responsibilities: Perform many basic tasks of food preparation and organization in the kitchen. Effectively communicate with other members of the kitchen staff. Report to duty punctually, wearing the correct uniform. Run the line during service, ensuring that the highest standards are met and that communication between all team members is efficient and polite. Produce menu items by maintaining high standards to achieve the correct quality and portion size. Monitor the quality of orders so that only those which meet our high standards are served to our guests. Ensure that a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained by following cleaning routines and through ongoing diligence during the shift and within set-up and clean down procedures. Ensure all guest allergies are noted and handled appropriately. Adhere to time limits for meal preparation and service. Observe the company’s fire plan and health safety policy.
