We are currently hiring for the restaurant to fill the position of Line Cook. Our restaurant is a upscale, fine dining work environment. Full-time or Part-time available. Benefits are available to those who are full-time. Family-style meal at the beginning of your shift.
Please note: Tips are included once probation is complete. Tips are an EXTRA $3 - $5 per hour/ per pay period. We provide a professional work atmosphere where we’re always positive and striving to be better everyday.

SKILLS

• Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook, or prep cook
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
• Familiar with industry’s best practices

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 1 years of cooking experience in a restaurant setting
• Proficiency in food preparation, including knife skills
• Strong understanding of food handling and safety protocols
• Previous experience in a kitchen environment
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced culinary setting
• Knowledge of menu planning and meal preparation techniques

• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
