THE OPPORTUNITY

Howe Sound Taphouse & Kitchen (New West) serves award-winning ales and lagers fresh from the brewery. Our menu is full of house-made favourites & our chefs focus on freshness & unique flavours cooking with our beer, seasonal produce & local seafood.
We are currently seeking a reliable, passionate a Line Cook (part time & full time available) to join our impressive BOH team. The ideal candidate will have a sincere passion for hospitality and upscale service.

Responsibilities

· Ensure the preparation station and the kitchen are set up and stocked.
· Prepare simple components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.
· Report to the Head Chef and follow instructions accordingly.
· Ensure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.
· Clean prep areas and take care of leftovers.
· Stock inventory and supplies.
· Cook menu items with the support of the kitchen staff.
