Title: Line Cook Department: Base Lodge, Ed & Mully’s, or Summit House Status: Full-time Seasonal (FTS), Part-time Seasonal (PTS) FLSA: Non-Exempt, Hourly Updated: February 2024 Job Summary:  The Line Cook is instrumental in ensuring customer satisfaction by consistently preparing food to WMR’s highest standards. Working at various locations such as Ed & Mully’s in the Whitefish Mountain Resort Village, the Summit House atop Big Mountain, or the Base Lodge at the bottom of Chair 6, the Line Cook contributes to the culinary experience of our guests. Job Relationships: * Reports to: Kitchen Manager * Employees Supervised: None Job Specifications: * High school graduate or GED equivalent * Two-year degree in culinary arts or hospitality field (preferred) * Minimum 3 years of food & beverage experience * Strong prioritization and organizational skills * Excellent decision-making and leadership abilities * Ability to work effectively in a team environment * Capacity to function during high-stress situations * Effective communication skills Specific Duties: * Ensure highest overall quality of food and beverage service * Maintain proper sanitation standards * Responsible for facility and equipment maintenance * Implement security and safety protocols * Uphold standards regarding interior environment * Assist in maintaining restaurant's financial performance, including but not limited to revenue generation, cost of goods sold, inventory and rotation of stock. * Maintain consistency in ingredients and portioning Safety & Wellness:  All team members must remain vigilant for unsafe conditions and behaviors, conducting periodic inspections to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
