Description Little Ruby’s – New York, NY Location: Williamsburg Little Ruby’s is seeking experienced Line Cooks to join our team in New York City. Little Ruby’s is a neighborhood café known for its Australian-inspired menu, all-day dining, and consistently high-volume service. Our kitchen operates in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with a strong focus on consistency, organization, and efficient execution. We are looking for cooks who are hardworking, organized, and thrive under pressure, with strong attention to detail and a team-first mindset. Responsibilities Execute dishes consistently according to recipes and presentation standards Set up and maintain a clean, organized station for service Work efficiently during high-volume service while maintaining quality Communicate clearly with chefs and team members during service Follow all food safety and sanitation standards Assist with prep, stocking, and maintaining kitchen organization Complete opening and closing duties as assigned Compensation & Benefits $21 – $24 per hour Flexible scheduling Opportunities for growth within a growing hospitality group Employee dining benefits Join a team that prides itself on consistency, efficiency, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Requirements What We’re Looking For Minimum 2 years of line cook experience in a high-volume NYC kitchen Experience in scratch kitchens or café-style environments preferred Strong understanding of kitchen fundamentals, including knife skills and station organization Ability to work clean, organized, and efficiently during busy service Strong work ethic and sense of urgency Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
