We are seeking PART-TIME and FULL-TIME dedicated and skilled Line Cooks to join our culinary team at the Wycombe Tavern & Grille. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in our kitchen, ensuring that each dish is prepared to perfection while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the culinary field.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and food handling practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with fine dining standards is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • A passion for cooking and creating exceptional meals that delight guests.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the head chef.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining quality and presentation.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure safe food handling practices.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages to management.
  • Participate in menu planning and development as needed.
