Zee Bar & Grill is a sports bar / restaurant and motel in the heart of the oil patch just outside of Fort McMurray. We’re located in a small hamlet called Anzac, 25 minutes southeast of Fort McMurray, with less than a 5 minute walk to Gregoire Lake, a popular beach, hunting, fishing and camping spot for northern residents during the summer months. In the winter months, Anzac boasts some of the best snowmobile trails in Alberta.
Job Description: Our menu is far beyond traditional pub food and all prep is done in house. Our staple items range from homemade gourmet “AAA” Angus beef/elk and bison burgers to our signature marinated 10oz New York strip. We are regarded as the best burgers in northern Alberta.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Basic math skills
· 2 years line cooking experience
· Excellent presentation skills
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
· Active listening and effective communication skills
· Team spirit
· Attention to detail
· Flexibility to work in shifts
· High school diploma
· Active food safety certificate
· Culinary Arts Education (Preferred)
Accommodations: Room and board is available for $600/month, which includes tv, high speed internet and a fully furnished room with private bath. Other amenities include bar fridge, air conditioning and full access to any food items on our menu.

· Capable of lifting 50lbs

· Place and receive food orders
· Clean and maintain kitchen equipment.
· Prepare items according to mandated recipes.
· Present detailed information when asked to front of house (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
· Inform front of house staff about daily specials
· Communicate food related issues to the front of house staff.
· Follow all relevant health department regulations.
· Operate Skid Steer for snow removal during winter months.
· Upkeep and maintenance of property.
