Description INTIGRAL supplies just-in-time, mass-customized insulating glass units (IGU), monolithic glass products, and Blinds Between the glass to window and door manufacturers from the Midwest States to the Mid-Atlantic. We are seeking a Line Lead for our Framing Department. 1st Shift M-F 6a.m. - 2.30 p.m. Major Job Responsibilities: The Line Lead provides support to the Department Supervisor by ensuring the line is well organized and supplied. Additionally, the Line Lead is required to work the line and to be well-versed in the operation and workflow requirements providing leadership to include feedback/coaching to the operators, conflict resolution, identifying process constraints, and appropriate problem solving. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Included, but not limited to): Perform position work when there is a need for members to leave the production line and for absenteeism Execute changeovers without safety issues while maximizing up time and minimizing quality issues Follow and administer all safety procedures and personal protective equipment according to standards. Be proactive on safety concerns and make recommendations when appropriate. Respond to any downtime situation and correct it immediately or notify the Supervisor of the need for support. Responsible for the hour-by-hour operation of your work center(s) to ensure that the team is working efficiently towards exceeding the daily schedule. Monitor WIP (work in process) levels to ensure smooth workflow; coordinate delivery of supplies from the shipping department. Train new and existing operators. Know, understand and promote the quality specifications for the department. Lead corrective actions. Deploy, execute and train to existing and future process improvements Provide feedback to the supervisor regarding daily operations and personnel Maintain audits as necessary (standard work, safety, etc.) Required to report to work 30 minutes prior to shift start and 30 minutes following when necessary. Additional overtime as required. Requirements Requirements: A high school diploma or GED and six to 12 months of related experience or training are equivalent to a combination of education and experience. Ability to understand work orders, follow procedures, and stay on task Certain positions require you to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and push or pull 75+ lbs Positions in assembly and inspection require specific vision abilities that include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Continuously exposed to moderate manufacturing noise. Stand continuously for an 8-hour shift + OT
