Job Description As a Line Leader you will be responsible for managing the total operation of the production line to maximize performance within established safety, quality, and cost parameters. The Line Leader should have: Proven ability to coach, mentor, energize, and engage hourly and salary team members Strong desire and drive to learn new systems and processes Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient with MS Office, including experience using Excel for data analysis Change management experience, with clear vision and ability to think strategically The Line Leader will: Serve as a customer liaison and ensure customer quality requirements are met Analyze production data and identify opportunities for increased productivity and quality Drive to key performance goals for production lines Work with various departments on short term and long-term projects Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent is required 3-5 years experience supervising people and processes in a manufacturing environment Previous experience in glass container manufacturing is highly preferred Significant understanding of Flow Manufacturing concepts that use Continuous Improvement and Kaizen events Availability to support 24/7 operations Additional Information What we offer at O-I: Salary Range: The expected salary range for this position is between $80,000 - $115,000 and includes a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
