Lead Operator. An exciting opportunity awaits for a Line Leader wanting to develop their career at our packing and fulfilment operation based in Lincoln.
We are offering £13/hour. Overtime available with staff discounts and a chance to attend regular food tasting events and take part in fun and exciting team activities.
We source quality, delicious award winning British produce for our luxury gift hampers that are delivered throughout the UK and around the world. Seeking a Line Leader to join our Warehousing, Fulfilment and Dispatch team at our innovative Fulfilment Centre on Great Northern Terrace, Lincoln.
The key aspects of the role are as follows:
· Picking, packing hampers and overseeing the packing/batching processes( up to 6 operators in the peak season from August to January)
· Perform office admin duties, including printing paperwork for the orders, reports, branded ribbon and batching sheets.
· Coordinate and supervise the activities of the production/batching line.
· Conduct regular quality control inspections.
· Conduct audits of production processes, equipment, and inventory to ensure compliance with established procedures, quality standards, and packaging guidelines.
· Provide assistance to the Production Manager in training temporary personnel.
· Monitor the performance of the production/batching line.
· Maintain accurate records of production data.
· Ensure that the workplace is kept clean, tidy and free of clutter.
· Assist with warehouse duties like stock takes, palletising, pallet wrapping, stock replenishment and etc.
· Foster a positive and cooperative work environment by promoting teamwork, effective communication, and adherence to The British Hamper Company’s policies and procedures.
