Peace Valley Line Locating is currently hiring Line Locating Assistants in Fort St. John, BC.

Qualifications:

• Must pass a pre-employment, pre-access and post-incident drug testing.
• Excellent physical fitness is required.
• Enjoy working outdoors in all seasons.
• Possess current safety tickets: CSO, H2S, First Aid.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Experience operating ATVs, UTV’s and Snowmobiles is considered an asset.
• Must be motivated and willing to learn. We are seeking individuals who are driven and eager to grow within our company. The position offers a pathway to advance from Line Locator Assistant to Line Locating Technician through training and skill development.
• Candidates should demonstrate a willingness to undergo training and develop the necessary skills to advance .

• Assist Line Locating Technicians in completing locates as directed
• Aid in maintaining vehicles and equipment to ensure operational readiness
• Utilize hand tools effectively and safely in accordance with job requirements
• Actively participate in the company’s safety program, adhering to all safety policies and procedures
• Perform shop duties as required to support operational needs
