Join our Team About this opportunity We are looking for a Line Manager to lead our Mechanical & Thermal Design team within the Hardware Design department of the Product Engineering Group RAN Compute and EE. In this role, you will teach, coach, and inspire a talented team to deliver world-class mechanical and thermal solutions that support our technology leadership. You'll drive strategic initiatives, foster craftsmanship, and optimize engineering workflows across organizational boundaries. What you will do Lead and inspire the Mechanical & Thermal Design team to achieve world-class excellence in mechanical and thermal solutions, ensuring Ericsson remains a technology leader in this field. Drive competence development within the team, evaluate individual and team deliverables, and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement. Collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines to secure the best product-level trade-offs. Develop and implement design strategies, outlining how the team will create and deliver impactful solutions. Identify pain points and drive continuous improvements to maximize team output and product quality. Lead innovation and product improvements to ensure technology and cost leadership. Engage with suppliers to ensure the right technologies are applied to RAN Compute products. You will bring Proven experience leading development teams, with strong mechanical and thermal design knowledge and understanding of related development processes. Solid product development background with a passion for continuous improvement and craftsmanship. Strong accountability and ability to deliver customer value on time. Experience driving large-scale change programs and flow optimization. Product domain knowledge is a plus. Strong communication and collaboration skills to lead cross-functional initiatives.
