Te kōwhiringa | The opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Line Mechanics to join Downer’s Network Services team in New Plymouth, following recent team growth, new leadership and the recruitment of industry leading Supervisors. As a Tier 1 Contractor for Powerco, you’ll work across a wide variety of activities including construction projects, maintenance programmes, defect rectification and fault response. No two days are the same. Your work will take you across the region, with the outdoors often being your office. In this role, you’ll take pride in delivering high quality construction, maintenance and fault diagnosis/rectification while always ensuring a safe work environment. You’ll be part of a team that enjoys working hard, having fun, and supporting each other to be the best in the region. Participation in a 1-in-4 faults roster is ideally available from commencement.
