Description Hourly / Non-Exempt Schedule: 6am-4:30pm Monday - Thursday Job Summary To assist with mask/epoxy and conformal coating operations for the purpose of providing environmental protection for printed circuit boards to ensure a quality product as specified in customer instructions. Duties/Responsibilities Inspect printed circuit boards for epoxy cure, bubbles and voids in epoxy using established procedures to ensure product quality. Assist conformal coating machine operators by loading boards into machines, applying conformal coating to areas of the printed circuit board that the machines cannot, managing boards going through UV ovens, unloading boards from fixtures and assist with masking removal as specified by following established procedures. Contributes to maintaining a safe work environment by following safety policies and procedures, reporting any safety concerns, participating in any scheduled stretch breaks. Responsible for tracking time worked on specific jobs by recording time on time sheets. Actively participates in quality efforts and support the Virtex Quality Policy through accountable action. Responsible for compliance to the Virtex Quality Management System and other regulatory and statutory requirements as required by the customer. Act as an authorized agent to stop production when nonconformances are noted. Accountable for accepting responsibility for continuous on the job training by actively participating in training put on by designated Virtex employees and/or any outside service. Education/Experience Must be 18 years of age or older. Electronic assembly experience: 6 plus months preferred. Experience with small part assembly and microscopes: 3 or more months preferred. Requirements Required Skills/Abilities Due to ITAR Restrictions, US Citizenship or green card is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively as a team player. Ability to read and understand technical documents such as standard operation procedures and other related documents. Good hand/eye coordination and ability to work with small or large components. Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift, push and pull 10 to 45 pounds. Prolonged periods of sitting or standing. Must have good eyesight, as well as the ability to adjust focus and differentiate between colors.
