Description

Operate Production and packing machines as per SOP and work instruction Ensure correct packing material, Batch coding and labeling as per the standards. Startup, Change-over, Cleaning and basic machine adjustments. Monitor weighing, Sealing quality and visual defects during packing. Record production data, down times, wastage, and quality checks in line log sheets. Identify Abnormalities (noise, leakage, rejection and weight variation) and inform supervisors. Support SMED activities during changeovers. Ensure line clearance before and after production. Coordinate preventive maintenance and ensure minimal downtime. Uphold and enforce GMP, HACCP, ISO/FSSC 22000, and internal hygiene SOPs. Follow FIFO/FEFO for materials during production.

Responsibilities

The Line Operator is responsible for operating production and packing machines according to SOPs and work instructions while ensuring product quality and compliance with safety standards. They will also monitor production data and support maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
