Qualifications Able to pass pre-employment physical/TB test Obtain fingerprint clearance as required by our licensure Food Handler’s certification. Prepares foods according to standardized recipes, and food production sheets. Obtains food and non-food supplies as instructed. Oversees food line in absence of lead cook or Chef. Maintains work area in a clean and sanitary method while preparing food. Communicates with Chef and Lead Cook on approving any change in the food menu Prepares, serves, and stores foods and beverages according to the Kosher Culinary Laws, State & Federal Food Handlers regulations.
Responsibilities
The Line/Prep Cook prepares foods according to standardized recipes and oversees the food line in the absence of the lead cook or chef. They maintain a clean work area and communicate menu changes with the chef and lead cook.
