MCS is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen staff. Responsibilities Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner, following recipes and presentation specifications. Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., slicers, choppers, fryers, ovens, stovetops). Stock and maintain sufficient levels of products at assigned stations. Keep a clean and tidy workstation, adhering to all sanitation and food safety standards. Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen Assist in prep work and receiving/storing deliveries as needed. Communicate effectively with the Chef, Sous Chef, and front-of-house staff. Handle high-pressure situations, including peak service hours, with professionalism and efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar role 3 years or more preferred. Solid understanding of classic cooking techniques and kitchen terminology. Ability to read and follow standardized recipes. Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen environment. Manual dexterity and physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Strong organizational and time management skills. Must be able to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must have a Food Handler's Card.
