QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Trade qualification in machining, fitting, boilermaking, or a related field.
  • Proven experience operating line boring equipment and ID welders (Hoffman, Triangle, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, dimensional tolerances, and precision measurement techniques.
  • Experience working in a workshop or industrial environment, ideally with heavy machinery.
  • Competent with basic computer skills for reporting, logging, or work documentation.
  • Demonstrated focus on workplace safety and ability to follow safety procedures.
  • Adherence to OEM instructions and specifications to ensure correct repairs and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple trades.
  • Previous experience in troubleshooting and maintaining machining equipment is highly desirable.
