Job Title: Lineman
Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lineman to join our telecommunications construction team. As a Lineman, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground telecommunication lines and associated equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.

• Line Installation: Install overhead and underground telecommunication lines, including fiber optic cables, copper cables, and support structures, according to project specifications and industry standards.
• Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues with existing telecommunication lines and equipment, including identifying and repairing faults, splicing cables, and replacing damaged components.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. This includes the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established safety procedures for working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Documentation: Record and maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including installation records, maintenance logs, and test results, to support project reporting requirements and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Equipment Operation: Operate specialized tools and equipment, such as cable splicers, aerial lifts, and fusion splicers, safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other members of the construction team, including project managers, engineers, and fellow linesmen, to ensure efficient project execution and timely completion of tasks.
• Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, addressing any concerns or questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction with the completed work.
