Honeycomb Houses is a family-run institution born-and-bred from our parent company, Brakspear, which came to life all the way back in 1779. We are looking for a housekeeping linen porter to join our friendly and talented team at The Kings Head.
We pay up to £12.50 an hour, plus tronc.
The Kings Head is a 64-bedroom boutique Inn located in the heart of Cirencester. Set within a stunning 14th-century building, this stylish Inn effortlessly blends historic character with contemporary comfort. From original stone walls and vaulted cellars to chic modern furnishings, every corner tells a story of timeless elegance. The on-site restaurant serves seasonal British cuisine, while the bar and lounge provide a relaxed atmosphere for drinks, afternoon tea, or casual dining. The King’s Head Hotel is also a sought-after venue for weddings, meetings, and special occasions.

We are on the hunt for a Housekeeping linen porter to join our friendly family. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of every guest. Working behind the scenes, you’ll help maintain our commitment to cleanliness, presentation, and attention to detail. In this role, you will:

  • Deliver and collect linen efficiently across guest bedrooms and service areas, ensuring the team has what they need to provide seamless guest experiences.
  • Maintain an organised system for stocking clean linen and removing used bed linen, supporting the daily operations of our housekeeping service.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of public areas, stepping in when needed to maintain our exceptional standards of presentation throughout the hotel.
  • Assist with guest requests that relate to linen or public area standards, ensuring each interaction is handled with care and professionalism.
  • Show flexibility and reliability, responding to the needs of the day and working in partnership with Housekeepers and Supervisors to keep operations running smoothly.
