Located on the outskirts of Whitchurch, Hill Valley Golf & Spa has 80 bedrooms, 2 golf courses, restaurant & bar, conference facilities as well as a pool and spa.
We are looking for a linen porter who will join the housekeeping team.

The job role involves:

  • Collection, counting, and recording of all used linen.
  • Counting and distributing all clean linen, and all housekeeping supplies to all areas within the hotel.
  • Distribution, making up and removal of any extra beds and cots according to core standards.
  • Waste collection and disposal from all housekeeping areas.
  • Assisting with other housekeeping duties, ie. making beds, deep cleaning, etc
  • Counting and recording all linen and other stock deliveries.
  • Administration of linen stock control.
  • Maintain clean and tidy storerooms, cupboards, and Laundry areas.
  • Deep cleaning tasks such as mattress turning, net curtain washing, etc.
  • Processing in-house linen for other departments of the hotel.
  • Adhere to key security procedures.
  • Report any maintenance issue to your Floor Supervisor.
  • Adhere to COSHH, manual handling, and Health & Safety procedures.
  • Any ad hoc tasks given to you as required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
