Description

PURPOSE: To provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner. JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for filling and moving carts to assigned areas within the hospital. Provides a superior level of linen service throughout the hospital in a friendly and timely manner. Must meet quality and safety standards. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Be on time * Have excellent attendance * Meet established hospital standards * Follow all company safety rules * Be able to work well with a diverse workforce * Be able to follow directions given by their team lead and supervisor * Follow all company policies and procedures * Possess and maintain a positive attitude * The hours for this position is 6:30 am - 1pm Saturdays and Sundays. * This is located at Bellin Hospital at 744 S. Wester Avenue, Green Bay, WI 54301 * Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area in line with company policies * Be able to work past the schedule, as transportation issues may arise * Perform any other duties as manager/supervisor sees fit ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Cross-train in other positions per facility needs JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Be able to stand on feet up to 12 hours a day * Be able to push/pull soil/clean carts weighing up to 800 lbs. (on wheels) * Sufficient manual dexterity to build linen carts * Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, and pulling
