Part Time Shift : 1am-8:30am; rotating weekends and holidays Linen Entry rate: $21.42/hr Earn More with Your Experience – New Higher Pay Rates for EVS Roles! The Linen Technician will be responsible to distribute and retrieve patient linen, and materials for nursing units according to prescribed procedures, techniques and universal precautions. Will maintain P AR levels of inventory linen on patient units. Complete computerized inventory records of linen and materials. Minimum Education High School Diploma or GED (Required) Minimum Work Experience 1 year Related experience (Required) Required Skills/Knowledge Basic calculations; ability to enter inventory information into computer system Functional Accountabilities Materials Availability Maintain the availability of linens and issue linen to user department as required. Maintain PAR levels of linen in specified areas. Enter linen inventory into computer as required. Quality Assurance Ensure work is accomplished in a technically correct manner consistent with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Collect and dispose of soiled linen following hospital universal precautions and procedures. Ensures that quality assurance standards are met by rotating linen in department and nursing units on a weekly basis Work Station Maintain work station in clean and orderly fashion, break down boxes, dispose of trash and use supplies according to established procedures. Maintain par-levels on emergency or disaster carts as scheduled before and during use.
