Conduct deep competitor backlink analysis using tools like Ahrefs and SEMrush to identify high-value link gaps and opportunities. Collaborate with the content and SEO teams to ideate ‘linkable assets’ and content strategies that naturally attract backlinks. Manage and nurture relationships with bloggers, editors, and webmasters to secure high-quality placements (guest posts, niche edits, resource pages). Perform regular backlink audits to monitor client link profiles. Review outreach performance data (open rates, reply rates, conversion rates) to provide actionable insights and improve campaign efficiency. Stay up-to-date with Google’s link spam policies and the latest outreach tools and technologies. Work cross-functionally with in-house teams and agency partners to ensure off-page strategies align with broader client goals. Set up and track off-page KPIs. Design and produce monthly reports detailing link acquisitions and their impact on organic visibility. Requirements: At least 3 years of focused experience in SEO, specifically in Link Building, Outreach, or Digital PR. Deep knowledge of off-page SEO signals. Proficiency with analysis tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Google Search Console. Experience with outreach management platforms (e.g., Pitchbox, BuzzStream, Hunter.io, or similar). Strong verbal and exceptional written communication skills (ability to write compelling pitches that get opened and replied to). Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate effectively with site owners. Outstanding time and project management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple client campaigns simultaneously. Highly organised and detail-oriented.
