About this job

We are looking for an IT administrator (m/f/d) specializing in Linux systems, with solid experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of network security, experience with common Linux distributions, and the ability to develop effective solutions for system-related challenges in a dynamic IT environment.

YOUR NEW AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Administration of Linux server environments
• Operation and maintenance of data center infrastructures
• Creation and optimization of scripts for operation
• Virtualization and automation of IT environments
• Implementation and support of cloud solutions

WHICH TECHNOLOGIES ARE USED

• Various Linux derivatives such as Red Hat & SLES
• Scripts are written using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
• Data is stored using MySQL, Oracle, or other database systems.
• Automation is achieved using Ansible or similar solutions.
• To avoid virtualizing the entire system, we use container solutions such as Docker and Kubernetes.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT

• Data protection and data security are a basic requirement for you when setting up and operating IT environments.
• IT is not a one-man show. You can express yourself clearly and communicate (without offending anyone).
• System updates are released daily, therefore continuous professional development is essential for you.
• Exciting projects are not always in the immediate vicinity, so travel is not a problem for you.
• Excellent German skills (at least C1 level), English skills are an advantage.
