We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Linux and Windows Server System
Administrator to manage and support our hybrid server environment. The ideal candidate
will be responsible for deploying, maintaining, securing, and troubleshooting both Linux
and Windows-based systems, ensuring high availability and optimal performance of IT
infrastructure.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Proven experience as a Linux (RHEL, CentOS) System Administrator, Server
Administrator, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Linux OS internals, scripting, and server troubleshooting.
Experience with virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SCOM, Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus).
Understanding of network protocols and services (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, SSH, etc.).
Strong skills in bash, Python, or PowerShell scripting.
Familiarity with automation/configuration management tools
Manage high-availability (HA) clusters using tools such as: Windows Failover
Clustering, Windows Server Cluster Manager, SQL Server Always On
Configure load balancing, redundancy, and failover strategies.
Managing Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file in Windows
environments.
Performing and testing regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
Understanding the enterprise tools such as tenable, CSAM etc.
Reviewing FISMA compliance, and update security documents
Knowledge of security best practices and system hardening.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
4+ years of hands-on experience in a Windows and Linux system administration role.
Strong understanding of Windows Server administration (AD, DNS, GPO, etc.).
Strong understanding of Linux administration (user management, services, logs, etc.).
Experience with virtualization technologies and system backups.
Solid grasp of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls).
Proficiency in PowerShell and Linux shell scripting
