Description
We are looking for a talented Embedded developer to utilize Linux OS for Apple Silicon Validation. You will be part of a highly visible team developing Linux Kernel device drivers and user-space apps in order to test the functionality, conformance, and performance of the best in class Apple System-on-Chips (SoC). Join us and help to deliver the next groundbreaking Apple product. DESCRIPTION In this role, you will develop Linux kernel device drivers, apps and automation infrastructure for silicon validation purposes. You will be responsible for bringing up and maintaining Embedded Linux on most advanced Apple SoCs in various platforms like simulation, FPGA and custom boards. Additionally, you will create and maintain automation environments to enhance the efficiency and robustness of the validation process. Collaborating closely with architects, design, and software teams, you will gain insights into SoC design and usage models, while also debugging complex hardware and software issues in both silicon and pre-silicon environments. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Strong C programming skills At least 2 years of experience with System-on-Chip architecture and HW-SW integration Excellent debugging and problem solving capabilities PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Good Python and Bash knowledge Experience with Embedded Linux Kernel development - Advantage Experience with ARM Architecture - Advantage Apple is an Equal Opportunity Employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
