YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Computer Science or relevant studies in a related field.
  • Extensive experience in Linux system installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting and upgrading.
  • Extensive work experience in Shibboleth,NFS, SMB, CIFS, LDAP, DNS.
  • Extensive work Experience to install, configure and troubleshoot pacemaker clustered systems.
  • Experience with Ansible, GIT, Docker, Weblogic, Kubernetes.
  • Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Perl, Python, etc.).
  • Experience managing web applications and web servers, IT security awareness, certificate management, key management.
  • Nice to have logging and monitoring solution experience.
  • Nice to have open source database administration experience (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL).
  • Solution oriented, high level of responsibility and ability to work in a team.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
Responsibilities
  • Apply your experience to install, configure, performance analysis and tuning, maintenance and troubleshooting, identify problem and resolution of Linux systems (e.g. RedHat, CentOS 7, Rocky Linux);
  • Daily Linux system administration tasks such as adding and removing users, user access management, file and share permission, trust management, single sign on management using Shibboleth.
  • Work with Linux in SAN environment adding removing SAN disks, configure multipath, extend file systems.
  • Use your experience to manage and improve our Linux high availability cluster environment.
  • You will demonstrate your talent and experience, managing our Linux servers and focusing on automation tools (e.g. Ansible).
  • Implement vulnerability and error analysis and performance tuning measures.
  • Implementing and improving IT security concepts.
  • Collaborate in projects with internal and external providers/integrators.
  • Investigate, evaluate and propose new technologies and solutions.
