About the role... We are currently seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator (LDAP/IAM) to join our team. The successful candidate will work in a multinational environment on a multitude of tasks supporting our business in implementing and developing solutions for large EU and international institutions and private sector companies in Greece and abroad. What you will do... Provide day-to-day technical support for the Corporate LDAP infrastructure that acts as a primary identity source for corporate applications. Monitor and respond to service failures impacting Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition (ODSEE), including analysis of technical logs and root-cause troubleshooting. Oversee and maintain daily synchronization processes (including cronjob-based integrations) and troubleshoot issues reported by synchronizing systems and applications. Perform Linux administration tasks (processes, permissions, file systems, service checks) required to keep the platform stable and secure. Providing technical support to the Identity and Access Management (IAM) Service Manager as required. Technical Skills required... BSc's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or any other relevant field. 5+ years in Linux infrastructure operations / Linux system engineering, with strong hands-on administration skills. Must have hands-on experience in managing LDAP directories on Linux servers. Familiarity with the administration of Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition (ODSEE), is particularly important for this role. Strong scripting/automation experience (documented emphasis on Perl) and solid knowledge of cron scheduling and operational automation. Practical troubleshooting skills: log analysis, incident response, and supporting business-critical authentication/authorization services. Ability to document procedures/runbooks and communicate clearly with stakeholders (e.g., IAM Service Manager, application owners). Behavioral Attributes...
