Linux system administrator (m/f/d)

This is what you can expect from us

Are you looking for more than just traditional Linux administration? With us, you'll take responsibility for modern Linux, virtualization, and cloud platforms and actively shape their further development. You can expect exciting tasks involving Debian Linux, Proxmox VE, automation, Infrastructure as Code, and modern open-source technologies. Together with your team, you'll further develop the platforms and services our customers rely on every day and contribute your own ideas for new technologies, standards, and services.

With us, you won't work in rigid structures or solely within a ticketing system. We value personal responsibility, technical expertise, and a willingness to actively drive progress. Therefore, you'll have the freedom to help shape technical decisions, further develop standards, and sustainably influence the future of our Linux platforms.

Look forward to

  • Platform, asset, or product ownership with genuine creative freedom.
  • Responsibility for modern Debian Linux, Proxmox VE and cloud platforms
  • Architectural decisions, automation, and Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Puppet
  • Continuous optimization of availability, performance, security and scalability
  • Development of new services and technical standards in collaboration with operations, sales and product management
  • Direct influence on the technological development of our platforms
  • Modern open-source platforms and tools for automation, virtualization, and Infrastructure as Code
  • The opportunity to further develop your professional skills in topics such as Kubernetes, cloud technologies and modern platform architectures.
  • Flexible working models with hybrid remote arrangements and planned on-call duty

Your profile

You have solid Linux experience and want to do more than just administer systems. You want to take on responsibility, help shape technical decisions, and actively develop modern platforms.

Ideally, you should bring...

  • Several years of professional experience in Linux administration

  • Analytical thinking skills and enjoyment of demanding technical challenges
  • A self-reliant, structured and quality-oriented way of working
  • German language skills (C1) and technical English

More important to us than individual technologies or certifications are your willingness to learn, your sense of responsibility and your desire to actively shape things.
